It is great fun to try doing something creative. This time I decided  to fix an old chair that was passed down to me from my granny. It really needed some love and care after having been massacred  by my sister's cats.

I could not imagine when starting that there would be so many steps to restore a chair. It had to be stripped down completely and everything was exchanged for new material. At times I wished my hands had been stronger, but I was quite pleased with the result when the job was finished so I continued to freshen up the footstool to make them match.
